RDFC is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (“SBA”) to market, negotiate, package, close and service SBA 504 loans as an agent for the SBA. RDFC’s area of concentration for this program includes seventeen (17) counties in western Pennsylvania, although we are authorized to operate statewide.
Also, RDFC’s loan program (“RDFC Funds”) consists of a U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (“EDA”) Revolving Loan Fund, which has been divided internally between the City of Pittsburgh (“EDA-CITY”) and County of Allegheny (“EDA-COUNTY”) loan funds, via Board action, for the benefit of businesses in their respective geographic areas.
RDFC is an intermediary for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Pittsburgh District Office for the Women-Owned Business “Pre-qualification” Program. RDFC, and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (“SPC”), were given the designation to represent the program in the 27 counties served by the Pittsburgh District Office. The Pre-qualification Program has since been expanded to include minority-owned businesses and veteran-owned businesses and additional intermediaries have been designated by the SBA.
